APGA Senatorial Candidate Odiuko, storms JDPC Town Hall meeting

Just few weeks to the general elections, the Owerri Zone Senatorial candidate of the All Progression Grand Alliance, APGA, Barr. Sir Chyma Anthony, KSJI, (Odiuko), has reiterated his readiness to change the ugly narrative of Nigeria through a quality and robust representation.
He said he will make sure the issue of executive corruption and rascality are thoroughly checked when elected to the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, saying he is poised to pass a bill to rejig the immunity clause placed on the ruling class especially the executive that exempts them from being tried on corruption charges, to enable them lead the people aright.
Odiuko made the vow during a Town Hall Meeting organized by JDPC, Owerri Archdiocesan, for House of Representatives and Senatorial candidates in Imo State themed “Enthronement of Good Governance In Imo State” held on Sunday.

He noted that when the immunity clause is amended those in political positions especially the executive would sit up, do the needful to better lives of citizens without toiling with them, adding that the enactment of good laws in Nigeria will definitely turn fortunes of the country in a better way.
The vibrant Senate hopeful promised that when voted into power he would extend his selfless representation to fixing hospitals for proper healthcare delivery to the people of Owerri Senatorial Zone, bring in Toyota Plant into Nigeria to enhance the country’s economy and also recover the lands of some communities in Owerri especially that of Obibi Ezena in Owerri North Council, which he regretted were grabbed by the Imo/Anambra River Basin, among others.
