Christmas: Dr. Osmond Ukanacho gives message of hope to Mbaike people

They peoples Democratic party PDP House of Representives candidate for Mbaitolu and Ikeduru Federal constituency, Dr. Osmond Ukanacho has expressed a strong belief that with effective representation of the people in the National Assembly, the constituency would bounce back to it’s former glory.
He made the expression in his Christmas message to the people of His Constituency.
The House of Reps Candidate lamented that money budgeted for Constituency projects for Mbaitolu and Ikeduru Federal constituency by the National Assembly for almost eight years were diverted leading to infrastructural deficit in the area.
Dr. Ukanacho who emphasized that Mbaike people are enterprising; stressed the need for infrastructural development especially good road network to facilitate development.
He asked Mbaike people who are seriously clamouring for positive change to continue to believe in his ability to bring about the needed change in the constituency through effective representation.
Explaining why he condescended to run for House of Representives considered lower in status than the office of the governor which he had contested in 2015, Dr. Ukanacho said he was motivated by the desire to change the narrative by uplifting the living standard of his people.
He expressed the hope that with the existing understanding between the two local governments of Mbaike, it is the turn of Ikeduru to represent the constituency in the House of Representives since an Mbaitolu son is currently serving out his eight years in the Federal House by the beginning of next year.
While appreciating his people for their massive support, Dr. Ukanacho however called for perseverance among Mbaike people in the face of hardship occasioned by ineffective representation; maintaining that he has come to serve and put smiles on their faces.
