Eze Nwokocha frowns at the planned Iriji Mbaise over death of a traditional ruler

The Chairman of Mbaise Council of Traditional Rulers Eze Leo Nwokocha has described as insensitive the plan by some stakeholders in Mbaise to celebrate new yam festival without regard for the death and burial of Eze Nnamdi Mmirioma who was shot dead by unknown gunmen recently.
Eze Nwokocha stated this while reacting to statements by some factions of Mbaise stakeholders where they expressed their readiness to host Iriji Mbaise on 15th of August, 2023.
The traditional ruler who observed that nothing in the statements showed regard for the late Eze Mmirioma whom according to him was supposed to be the host traditional ruler as the planned ceremony is holding in his domain.
