General Election: Get your PVCs handy-Group tells Nigerians

An advocate of good governance, Hon.Joseph Onuoha has called on Nigerian citizens to collect their PVCS preparatory to the forthcoming general election to vote in credible leaders to pilot the affairs of the country.
Hon. Onuoha who is the convener of Elites for Good Society Initiative, made the call in Owerri Imo state during the inauguration of the Organization which aimed at good governance.
According to him, it is not enough for the citizens to clamour for good governance, but should rather arm themselves with their PVCs to enable them make informed choice of leaders.
The convener revealed that aside inauguration of the group, the gathering provided a great opportunity for people from diverse ethnic, religious and political groups to come together and reflect on the true state of Nigeria.
He stated that Elite For Good Society Initiative was not attached to any political party, hence the need for all and sundry who desire good governance to participate.
Hon. Onuoha who pleaded for more support to enable the organization achieve its core objective of advocating for the people in the society; lavished praises on the Executive and members of Elites For Good Society Initiative for their selfless sacrifices towards the growth of the Initiative.

In a welcome address, the president of the group, King Evans Ezechimere, who does not reside in Nigeria said it was part of efforts to ensure good governance is replicated in Nigeria as the enjoy it outside the country.
Represented by the Vice president, Barrister Mrs Victoria Njoku Nwankwo, the president appreciated all those in attendance for their quest for good governance in Nigeria.
Highpoint of the Ceremony which held at Links Hotel Owerri, was the presentation of membership Certificate to members.
