National Population Commission commences online recruitment of Adhoc staff for the conduct of the 2023 national Census
The National Population Commission NPC Imo state has announced the commencement of its online recruitment of Adhoc staff for the conduct of the 2023 national Census.
The commission explained that the portal for recruitment was opened on the 7th of this month and was temporarily shut but would be re-opened on 13th of this month.
The state Director, NPC Imo state, Barrister Justice Ike who represented the Honourable Federal commissioner, National population commission Imo state professor UbaNnabue, disclosed this during a press briefing in Owerri.
Barrister Ike who described the recruitment exercise as va critical component towards the success of the 2023 Census revealed that it would create an opportunity for over one million youths to be meaningfully engaged in census activities.
According to him, the positions to apply for are facilitators, Field coordinators, Training Centre Administrators, Data quality managers, Enumerators, quality Assurance officers, supervisor, monitoring and Evaluation officers.
He said the interested applicants must have National Identification Number, Functional Gmail account, Functional phone number, bank account and relevant education qualification.

The Director noted that to ensure integrity of the process, the national population commission has created teams to operate at the state and local government levels; aimed at reducing costs of transportation and inconveniences for the census functionaries.
He implored all stakeholders to ensure that computer-literate Imo people are engaged for the job to help achieve excellent census results considering that headcount aids national planning.
